NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a type of dietary supplement powder found in humans, animals, yeast and basically all living things. Coenzymes are needed in the body to allow other enzymes to work. A basic definition of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is "a cofactor found in all living cells."
